We invite you to join your neighbors in a discussion about traffic in the Rockridge Trapezoid (the neighborhood enclosed by Alcatraz, College, Telegraph and Claremont) at 6:30pm on Monday, October 26th at the College Avenue Presbyterian Church (5951 College Ave).

After the City made it clear there are no longer any plans to install diverters in our neighborhood, and asked for more consensus on traffic remedies, a small group of neighbors made up of people from both sides of the diverter issue came together with the goal of facilitating a broader discussion on traffic in our neighborhood.

It is our hope that this community meeting will be a chance for us all to come together and talk about our experiences with traffic (vehicle, bike, and pedestrian) in our neighborhood, and to start the process of exploring solutions that address traffic concerns without shifting those issues to other streets.

We have put together a loose agenda for the meeting to give the discussion some structure:

  1. Welcome and purpose of meeting
  2. Defining the problem we are trying to solve
  3. Discussion of traffic problems
  4. Conclusion and next steps

We hope that you join us on October 26th!
